Before we can see any patient, we will need a physician’s order for your medication, details about your health insurance plan, and other information such as your demographics, vitals, labs, and certain clinical data to authorize your treatment.

All of the information your doctor needs to provide can be found on our Referrals page. If you would like, we can reach out to your physician on your behalf.

Once we have everything from your doctor, a member of the Novella Infusion team will review your information and, if required by your health insurance, reach out to your insurance plan to obtain a prior authorization (PA). Your PA is a confirmation from your insurance that the prescription is covered by your health plan.

Once you are approved for treatment, a member of the Novella Infusion team will contact you to schedule your appointment for a time that is convenient for you.
